This means there are options for everyone to be able to experience the magic of reformer Pilates, whether that's in a Private 1:1 session, a Duet (a semi-private 2:1 session) or a small group class environment.

Flying Solo
Private 1:1 sessions are individually tailored to your needs, with content, pace + intensity being adjusted as needed to ensure you feel supported the whole time.
Private 1:1 sessions sessions are great for:
anyone wanting a little more personal attention
complete beginners needing time to get familiar with the equipment, at their own pace
people recovering from injuries (with medical clearance)
those who are returning to or starting exercise after a long period of time (whether due to inability, mobility issues, injuries or ailments that impede movement)
busy folks who can't make it to the scheduled group classes
Get in touch with us here to request to book a 1:1 session.
Delightful Duets
Duets are a semi-private session, for two people (usually with similar ability + like-minded goals).
Similar to a Private 1:1 session, each participant can be given direction specific to their needs, ability + fitness/strength level.
The pace, content + intensity of the session is dictated by both participants' needs so you can be sure to feel like you are getting the most out of the session.
Semi-private sessions are great for:
friends wanting to try Pilates but nervous to come to a group class straight away
people who want to encourage each other to achieve their health/wellbeing goals
those wanting more personal attention but don't want to do it solo
Get in touch here to request to book a Duet 2:1 Session.
Flow with Friends
Our small group classes have a maximum capacity of just four people so you'll never be lost in the crowd. All group classes are open-level, meaning people with varying levels of strength, mobility + fitness are welcome to attend. It is important to note, however, that the class will always be pre-planned + while modifications will always be offered to everyone who may need them, each participant is responsible for themselves throughout.
It is highly recommended that absolute beginners (with no current injuries or ailments) start with our Flow + Align class to acquaint themselves with the equipment before trying out any of the other classes on the schedule.
If you have existing injuries, ailments or other pre-existing conditions, it is recommended that you speak to your instructor prior to booking in, as you may need to attend a private session first to assess your suitability for group classes.
Do you have any other questions regarding any of our classes? Check out our blog post, answering the Top 5 FAQs or feel free to get in touch here
I look forward to welcoming you to your first class at Flow State Movement!
(Rosie will be glad to accept a cuddle, pat or treat upon your arrival too ☺️)
